Maknana – Terms & Conditions and Policy

Welcome to Maknana (“Application”, “App”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”). These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our mobile and web application in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), whether you are a Customer purchasing machines or requesting maintenance services, or a Technician accepting service missions through the platform.

By registering, accessing, or using Maknana, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Application.


1. Definitions

  • Customer: Any person or entity purchasing a machine or requesting maintenance services through the Maknana App.

  • Technician / Service Provider: Any certified professional registered on the App to accept and perform missions.

  • Mission: A maintenance service order requested by a Customer and accepted by a Technician.

  • Marketplace: The e-commerce function within Maknana where Customers can browse and purchase machines.

  • User: Refers to both Customers and Technicians using the App.


2. Eligibility

  • • Users must be at least 18 years old.

  • • Users must provide accurate personal and business information.

  • • Technicians must provide valid licenses, certifications, and comply with Saudi labor and safety regulations.


3. Customer Purchases

  • • Customers may browse and purchase machines directly through the Maknana App.

  • • All prices are displayed in Saudi Riyals (SAR) and include VAT where applicable.

  • • Payments are processed through secure and authorized payment gateways.

  • • Delivery timelines and costs will be communicated at checkout.

  • • Warranty and return policies will be provided per product type, in line with Saudi e-commerce regulations.


4. Maintenance Service Requests

  • • Customers may submit a request for maintenance services through the App.

  • • The system will match the request with available certified Technicians.

  • • Customers will receive a service quotation, estimated cost, and time before confirming the mission.

  • • Once a Technician accepts the mission, the Customer will be notified, and both parties are bound by this agreement.


5. Technician Missions

  • • Technicians must review mission details before accepting.

  • • Once accepted, the Technician is obligated to complete the mission professionally and on time.

  • • Technicians are responsible for bringing necessary tools, safety equipment, and following Saudi safety standards.

  • • Technicians will be paid according to the agreed fee after successful completion of the mission and customer confirmation.


6. Warranties and Liability

  • • Maknana is a marketplace and service platform, not the direct provider of maintenance services.

  • • Machine warranties are provided by the manufacturer or distributor.

  • • Technicians are independent contractors, not employees of Maknana.

  • • Maknana shall not be liable for damages caused by Technicians’ negligence, misconduct, or misuse of equipment.


7. User Responsibilities

  • • Customers must ensure correct address, access, and safe environment for maintenance services.

  • • Technicians must maintain confidentiality, respect customer property, and avoid misconduct.

  • • Both Customers and Technicians must comply with all Saudi laws and regulations.


8. Account Suspension & Termination

Maknana may suspend or terminate any account in cases of:

  • • Fraudulent activities.

  • • Breach of terms.

  • • Misuse of the platform.

  • • Non-compliance with Saudi e-commerce or labor laws.


9. Data Protection & Privacy

  • • Maknana complies with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).

  • • Personal data will only be collected, stored, and processed for service delivery.

  • • Users may request deletion of their data in line with PDPL requirements.


10. Dispute Resolution

  • • Disputes between Customers and Technicians should first be reported via the in-app support system.

  • • If unresolved, disputes may be referred to the Saudi Ministry of Commerce or competent courts in Riyadh, KSA.


11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.


12. Amendments

Maknana reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Users will be notified through the App, and continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.
